COMPUTER EVOLUTION HISTORY YEAR WISE (1981-1990)

EVOLUTION OF COMPUTER

The computer we use today is the result of many decades and hundreds of scientists' efforts. Let's have a look at the history of computer development. This post is about the years 1981 to 1990.

EVOLUTION OF COMPUTER

1981

This year the Xerox company launched the first computer market that had a graphic user interface ie GUI capability. In 1981, a scientist named Adam Osbourne created the first portable computer. It weighed 24 pounds and was priced at $ 1795. In 1981, IBM introduced the PC ie a personal computer. It is considered to be the Grand Father of today's modern PCs. In 1981, a company called Sony launched the first three-and-a-half-inch floppy drive disc in the market.

1983

This year a company called Apple Computer introduced the marketplace by installing a GUI called Grapha User Interface on its computer. This was very close to the GUI created by the Xerox Star. It was only in 1983 that Compact Computer Corporation created the first PC clone that could use the same software as a computer called IBM PC.

1984

This year the Apple company launched the first mouse-driven computer based on the Graphics user interface by the name of McIntosh. Which at that time the sale was a record in itself. It was only in 1984 that a company called IBM launched a computer called PC AT ie PC Advanced Technology. Which had the capacity to do three times more work than its first PC and in the same year 16 bit IS bus system was also used.

1985

This year the CD-RAM drive was launched by a company called Philips.

1986

This year a company named Coppac launched the first computer called Desk 386. Which included a processor called 386 made by Intel.

1987

A computer named IBM launched a machine called PS2 this year. In which a three-and-a-half-inch floppy disk drive, VGA standard, and microchannel architecture bus were used. This was the first plug and play capability bus used.

1988

Step Jobs of the App company left the Apple company to form a new company of its own. Which was named NEXT. It was only in 1988 that Compaq and other PC clone makers developed Enhanced Enhanced Industry and Architecture. Which came to be known as Eaja.

In the same year, Robert Maury worked coffee for Arpanet. The 23-year-old man was the son of a computer security expert who works at the National Security. This helped a non-destructive Born to create network links through the Internet.

1989

This year Intel released a microprocessor called 486 to the market. Which was made up of 1 million transistors and the same Intel launched 486 motherboard chipsets.

1990

S year was born on the Word Wide Web ie www. In this, the sum of Tim Baines's scientists was the highest. This scientist worked at the High Energy Physics Laboratory, Geneva, and developed the HyperText Language.
