Stereo is the reproduction of sound using two or more independent audio channels, which makes the impression of sound being heard from different directions, as in natural hearing. Mono (monaural or monophonic sound reproduction) consists of audio in a single channel, often focused in the "sound field". That is the classification of Stereophonic and Stereophonic sounds. Stereo sound has almost completely replaced mono due to improvements in stereo quality.


Stereo and mono terminology is used continuously when referring to amplifier connections. The sound is more natural and real, here most people will agree that pure stereo sound is better than mono. Many primary recording situations were conceived during mono and later remixed in stereo. Its problem is on two levels -


First, any stereo remix differs from the actual artist, the creator, the engineer, the hypothesis, and is therefore unreliable.


Secondly, a lot of stereo remixes are not good stereos, that is, stereo and sound are arbitrarily panned. As such LR spatial separation is the only important objective and there is no effect of real sound. In fact, this is not true for many original stereo mixes because in the initial months of the day all those who use stereo do not understand it.

If you have 2 speakers but both are sent mono signal then there is no experience of separation or depth. If a mono signal is sent to both channels of the stereo amplifier and a speaker is placed on each channel, the output will be mono.
