Rich Text Format

Rich text format specifications are a method of encoding formatted text and graphics for easy transfer between applications. In other words, we can say that rich text format is a document format developed by Microsoft in 1987 for cross-platform document interchange. Most word processors can read-write text format documents.

Currently, users rely on specific translation software to move word-processing documents between various MS-DOS, Windows, operating systems, Macintosh, and Power Macintosh applications.

Rich Text Format Specifications provides a format for text and graphics interchange. Which can be used with different output devices operating environments and operating systems.

Rich text format uses ANSI, PC8, MACINTOSH or IBM PC character sets to control the presentation and formatting of a document, both on-screen and in print.

Documents created under different operating systems and different software applications in rich text format specifications can be transferred between those operating systems and applications. For Macintosh and Power Macintosh in Word 6.0 (and later versions) rich text format files. An "RTF'' file is typed

The software that converts a formatted file into an RTF file is called Writer. An RTF Writer separates the control information of the applications from the original text and writes a new file that contains the text and the RTF group and is associated with the text.

Software that converts an RTF file into a formatted file is called Render. The sample does not provide technical or any other type of support for RTF reader code or RTF specification.

RTF is an 8-bit format. This limits it to ASCII, but text formats can encode characters beyond ASCII escape sequences. Character escapes are of two types: Code Page Escape and Unicode Escape.

When a rich text format file is opened in a text editor, the alphanumeric text is readable and the elements of the markup language are not greatly hindered.

Most word processing software implementations support rich text format import and export or direct editing and often make it a "common" format between incompatible word processing software and operating systems. Whose contribution does this tax contribute to interoperability?

Despite the difference between operating systems and their versions since 1987, rich text format files can be transferred back and forth between many old and new computer systems. This makes it a useful format for basic formatted text documents such as information books, resumes, letters, and modest information documents.

This document must at least support bold, italic, and underline text formatting. Left, center, and right, justified text is also classically supported. Apart from this, font specification and document mounting are also supported in RTF documents.

The RTF specification timeline is as follows

1987 – RTF 1.0

January 1994 – RTF 1.3

April 1997 – RTF 1.5

May 1999 – RTF 1.6

August 2001 – RTF 1.7

April 2004 – RTF 1.8

March 2008 – RTF 1.9.1

HTML text consists of two elements, the first plain text, and the second HTML tag. So we can say that HTML text is a combination of plain text and HTML tags. We can present this concept as follows

HTML text =Plain Text + HTML tag

HTML is a language used to describe web pages, its broad form is HyperText Markup Language. HTML is not a programming language. A markup language is a set of markup taxes. HTML uses markup tags to display web pages.

HTML is an acronym for Hypertext Markup Language. It is a cross-platform text-formatting system for creating web pages with copy, image, sound, frames, animation, and many other things.

In other words, we can say that HTML is a language used to create pages on electronic documents, especially on the World Wide Web that has connections called hyperlinks, or mark up in a file displayed on an HTML World Wide Web browser page  A set of symbols and codes through which web servers and clients exchange browser dialogues Markup tells the web browser how to display the words and images of a web page for use.
