7. Android 2.2.x Froyo :

It was launched in 2010 on 20 May. Here Froyo stands for Frozen Yogurt. It was based on Android version 2.6.32.

Many new features were seen in this such as integration of Chrome's VS JavaScript engine into the browser application, improved Microsoft Exchange support, improved application launcher, Wi-Fi hotspot functionality, quick switching between multiple keyboards, etc.

8. Android 2.3.x Gingerbread :
