  • You should use only one H1 on the webpage.

H3 Heading

If your webpage has a topic inside H2, therefore we use H3 to describe it.

For Example, in the H2 heading tag, we mention the Education of Mahatma Gandhi. So if you want to use an H3 title, you can write - the Education and Study Abroad Journey of Mahatma Gandhi.

H4 Heading

If we want to tell H3 in more detail on the webpage, then H4 is used.

For Example, you can see in the H3 heading tag we have mentioned about Education Journey of Mahatma Gandhi.

So if you want to use an H4 title, you can write - Education life of Mahatma Gandhi from 1875 to 1890 or from 1885 to 1898.

H5 Heading

H5 is used in a webpage to explain H4 in more detail.

H6 Heading

H6 is the shortest heading of a webpage. It is used to explain the webpage in full detail.

8. Sitemap

A sitemap is a file containing a list of the website's pages. This file contains the proper category-wise list of all the website pages.

You must know the Sitemap to some extent by the name itself. MAP of SITE means MAP of any website like Pages, Post, Categories, Images, Videos and how many pages are there and where. All the things are in a proper file called Sitemap.

Sitemap contains a list of all the pages so that Search Engine can crawl and properly index our website. Search engines do not have to search the pages of our website much. In a way, we help in Crawling and Indexing their work for Search Engines by submitting Sitemap.

Submitting a sitemap also benefits the user. Creating a sitemap allows users to easily find any category on our website.

Different Kinds of Sitemaps

There are 2 kinds of sitemaps commonly used: XML and HTML.

XML Sitemaps - XML Sitemap is a way that Blog Owners inform Search Engines about all their Blog pages so they can easily find them. The XML Sitemap also tells them which links are more important Or which pages are updated regularly.

9. Keyword

A keyword is a phrase or a sentence that you use in the Title to describe your article, like "What is Keyword," this phrase is called a keyword in the language of Blogging or SEO.

Types of Keywords:

There are many types of keywords, but here we talk about some of the main keywords:-

  • Competitor keywords
  • Customer-defining keywords
  • Exact match keywords
  • Informational keywords
  • Intent targeting keywords
  • Locational keywords
  • Long-tail keywords
  • Long-term evergreen keyword
  • LSI keywords
  • Market segment keywords
  • Mid-tail keywords
  • Navigational keywords
  • Negative keywords
  • Phrase match keywords
  • Product keywords
  • Product-defining keywords
  • Related vertical keywords
  • Short-tail keywords
  • Transactional keywords

NOTE - if you are a true blogger, you mainly have to focus on long and short-tail keywords.

10. Keyword Density

The percentage that comes after dividing by the keywords used in the total words of a blog post is called Keyword Density.

Example: – If we write an article of 1000 words related to "What is Keyword Density?" and use "What is Keyword Density" Keywords 10 times.

So now we will divide the total words, i.e., 1000, by the used keywords, i.e., 10, then 100 will come. After that, if you divide by 100 again to get the percentage of 100, then 1 will come, and then my Keyword Density will be 1%.

Keyword Density

If we use Keyword 1 time in 100 words, then Keyword Density is 1%.

11. Keyword Stuffing

Keyword stuffing is a process of inserting multiple keywords into Web content and meta tags to artificially increase a page's ranking in search results and drive more website or blog page traffic.

12. Long Tail Keyword ( What They Are & How to Use Them )

Keywords that contain three or more words are called Long Tail Keywords.

Today, Long Tail Keyword is used more by visitors so that they can get the correct result that they want.

For Example, if we search "Buy Wrist Watches for Men & Women Online" on Google, we get a list of different types of watches for men & women.

But if we search "best watches for men & women under 20,000 rupees," we will be shown only watches up to 20,000 rupees.

And out of that, we can choose anyone. Therefore, Long Tail Keyword has the advantage that it represents more than Short Term Keyword.

13. Backlink

One of the most commonly used words in this world of search engine optimization (SEO) is "backlink." Many bloggers have recently started a blog or a website and often struggle to understand what the term "backlink" means on Google.

A backlink is a link juice that makes a way from any other website to your website. In simple words, when a website owner adds a link to your web page in his web page, then this is what we call a backlink.

Types of Backlinks You Need to Know for SEO

Types of Backlinks

do-follow Backlinks

Dofollow Backlinks are those links that allow other websites and search engine bots to follow your website. Such links do not have a no-follow tag, and anyone can follow your website.

You can also call do-follow links as high-quality backlinks, which you must create from a website with high PR. These links are essential for your website.

Dofollow Backlinks are those links that increase the Seo rank and Traffic rank of our website. Google set do-follow Backlinks in 2005. Google released these links so that the search engine does not get any spam content and users can get better results.

Do-follow Link Example

<a href="https://google.com">hyperlinked text</a>{codeBox}

No-follow Backlinks

When a website links to another website but that link has a no-follow tag, the link does not pass juice. Nofollow links are useless for ranking the page because they do not contribute anything.

No-follow Link Example

<a href="https://google.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">hyperlinked text</a>{codeBox}
No-follow Backlinks

No-follow Backlinks

14. Index or No Index

Index -

When Google's bots crawl the web pages of your website, then they analyze the content and save the index of your web pages in the search engine's database. This process itself is called web indexing.

No Index -

The no-index meta tag may be included to stop a page or other resource from appearing in Google Search. This can also be done by adding headers to the HTTP response.

The next time Googlebot crawls that page, it will exclude the page from Google Search results if the tag or header appears.

15. Inbound Links

Suppose that if your website is A and the incoming link is B, then a figure like this will be formed -

A <------------------- B

Where A is your site and B is the inbound link that points to your website like this. We call this type of link an inbound link.

Now you must be a little confused about this; as I mentioned above, this is your site's backlink, which you can also control in some circumstances. But in some cases, you cannot even stop them.

If you create a backlink for your website, you should point or add the link to the website by checking the PA and DA and spam score of that website.

If any other website adds the link to your site, then you cannot stop it. But yes, if it is not related to your site or has low PA and DA, then in such a situation, you can go to the webmaster tool, link to your site, and manually check and ask the owner of that website to remove your link.

If it does not remove the connection after a few days, then with the help of Disavow tool, you can ask Google to non-index or ignore it forever.

16. Outbound Links

Outbound Links These are outgoing links that point from your website to another website, meaning they are external links that go from your site to another site. We insert such links in our articles so that the trust in our content improves.

Some experts believe that Outbound Links can hurt the website, and I also consider this to be 100% true. Still, if they are correctly used, they are perfect for the SEO of our website.

If you want to use Outbound Links in your content, then you should follow some rules given below -

  • External links should have good PA and DA.
  • His Spam score should be zero.
  • There should not be adult content or spam links on that website.
  • That link should be related to your content.

SEO or Search Engine Optimization is a method by which a blogger optimizes his blog or website to rank the blog's articles in the search engine and bring free traffic to his blog from there.

SEM

SEM or Search Engine Marketing is a marketing process by which you can make your blog more visible in search engines to get more traffic, whether free traffic or paid traffic (Paid Search Advertising).

Domain Authority

Domain Authority, which we call DA in the short term, is a metric created by Moz company whose purpose is to give a rating of websites from 1-100. DA is a very important factor of SEO which shows the website how well it ranks on the search engine.

Page Authority

Page Authority (PA) is a metric that describes a website's ability to rank a webpage in search engines. Just as domain authority refers to the ranking power of the entire domain, page authority measures the ranking power of a single page.

20. 301 Redirect

When we pass the old URL of one of our web pages to a new URL on Permanent Redirect, it is called 301 Redirection. In 301 Redirection, if a user or search engine bots click on our old URL, they are automatically redirected to the new URL.

21. 302 Redirect

When we redirect one of our webpages to another URL on Temporary Base, it is called 302 Redirect.

22. Error 404 not found
